Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to face roadblocks in their attempt to strike a deal with Manchester City for Savinho.
Spurs Web has relayed several reports over the last few days suggesting that Tottenham have identified alternatives to Savinho amid their inability to reach an agreement with Manchester City.
However, the Brazilian continues to be Spurs’ top winger target, with Roberto De Zerbi having made no secret of the fact he wants the club to push for their top targets rather than settle for plan B or C.
The deal appears to have stalled as Man City want to sign a replacement first before finalising Savinho’s sale to Spurs, and it appears Enzo Maresca’s side have to spend big to get the replacement they want.

Chelsea’s stance on Pedro Neto may push up cost of Savinho operation for Tottenham
Over the past couple of days, it has emerged that Man City have held talks with Pedro Neto, after identifying him as their preferred option to replace the 22-year-old Spurs target.
The same updates revealed that Neto is seen as a potential option by Tottenham in case they do not get Savinho, even though the Brazilian remains at the top of the Lilywhites’ wishlist.
According to a report in talkSPORT, the Citizens are indeed interested in replacing the Brazilian with the Portuguese winger, with Maresca said to be keen on reuniting with the 26-year-old at the Etihad Stadium.
It is suggested that Neto may struggle for game time under new boss Xabi Alonso following the £117m addition of Morgan Rogers. However, the report asserts that the Blues are demanding £70m to let the former Wolves man go.
Interestingly, some Tottenham insiders have said that Man City now want Spurs to pay £70m for Savinho after talks were held between the two clubs on a £50m deal earlier this summer.
Neto is also wanted by two other clubs
This latest report in talkSPORT also reveals that Man City are not the only big club to have their eye on Neto, who now faces an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool have also explored a move for the Chelsea man as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah, who has completed a move to Trabzonspor.
Additionally, Serie A giants AC Milan are also believed to be keeping tabs on Neto, whose compatriot, Ruben Amorim, is now in charge at the San Siro.
