Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to strenthen the squad with top-class additions, but their latest signing could trigger the sale of an experienced star.

Martin Dubravka has become Tottenham’s fourth signing of the summer, with the 37-year-old following Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson through the door.

The Slovak’s arrival confirms what several sources have reported over the last few weeks: Antonin Kinsky is set to continue as Spurs’ number one next season.

Many feel it is just a reward for the Czech shot-stopper’s impressive performances in the final seven games of last season, which arguably kept Tottenham in the Premier League.

Guglielmo Vicario is expected to leave Tottenham and return to Italy

It has been widely reported over recent weeks that Guglielmo Vicario had been added to Juventus’ wishlist, but several sources indicate that the Bianconeri are also keeping an eye on Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez.

This has now been backed up by Fabrizio Romano, who confirmed that Vicario is set to return to Serie A, but added that Juve could poach Martinez instead if Villa reduce their asking price.

He also revealed that Napoli are continuing to keep a close eye on the Tottenham goalkeeper.

Romano wrote on X: “Guglielmo Vicario, set to leave Tottenham with Italian clubs keen on the goalkeeper. Juventus are informed in case Aston Villa price for Dibu Martínez doesn’t drop. Napoli monitoring Vicario if they can sell a GK this summer, one of the names on the shortlist.”

Spurs could raise huge sum from player sales this summer

Vicario is not expected to be the only senior player to leave Hotspur Way this summer, with Roberto De Zerbi set to make major changes to the squad ahead of his first full season in charge.

According to Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge, Spurs could also cash in on Cristian Romero, Pape Matar Sarr, Radu Dragusin, Luka Vuskovic and Manor Solomon this summer.

With Lucas Bergvall also asking to leave the North London club, Tottenham could raise over £250m from player sales this summer.
