Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed their squad numbers for the 2026/27 season, with Antonin Kinsky among the players whose number has raised a few eyebrows.
After three months without competitive football, Tottenham Hotspur are now less than 48 hours away from kicking off their Premier League campaign with a trip to Brentford on Saturday.
There is understandably plenty of excitement ahead of Roberto De Zerbi‘s first full season in charge after he helped Spurs avoid relegation by just two points on the final day last season.
Tottenham have already spent £322m on summer signings, with the long-running Savinho saga finally reaching an agreement on Thursday.
The Brazilian is yet to be officially unveiled, though, as Spurs are racing against time to register him for Saturday’s game.
The club are also working with Manchester City on another one of their players, with Omar Marmoush having already agreed personal terms with Tottenham.

Antonin Kinsky keeps number 31 shirt despite Guglielmo Vicario exit
Tottenham have now confirmed the shirt numbers their players will wear this season, and one decision stands out in particular.
Antonin Kinsky will not take the vacant number one shirt despite Guglielmo Vicario leaving for Juventus on a season long loan.
Instead, the Czech goalkeeper has retained his number 31, perhaps because Vicario’s transfer isn’t a permanent one.

Why Mikey Moore’s FC Koln move is on hold
Tottenham had previously reached a verbal agreement with Bundesliga side FC Koln over a loan move for Mikey Moore, with the German club also agreeing personal terms with the youngster. The only thing missing was De Zerbi’s approval.
That has not arrived yet, largely because Spurs are short of attacking options and could need Moore for Saturday’s trip to Brentford if Savinho cannot be registered in time.
Now that Tottenham have finally reached an agreement with Manchester City for Savinho and only the official announcement remains, Moore’s move is expected to progress next week.
The teenager should then travel to Germany for his medical before completing the move to FC Koln.
