Tottenham Hotspur are facing some frustration in their pursuit of Savinho, but the Lilywhites remain optimistic of completing the signing of the Brazilian.
Spurs have also been mooted as contenders for Cody Gakpo. It turns out that it is not just big-name Premier League wingers that the Lilywhites have their eye on.

Tottenham battling Arsenal for Mexican starlet Hugo Camberos
According to a Mexico TUDN journalist Zaritsi Sosa (as relayed by Sport Witness), Tottenham Hotspur are fans of Chivas youngster Hugo Camberos.
The 19-year-old winger’s impressive performances in the CONCACAF U20 Championship have caught the eye of Roberto De Zerbi’s side, as well as their fierce rivals, Arsenal.
In fact, the report says that both North London clubs sent scouts to watch Mexico’s victory over Guatemala, with Camberos delivering a fine performance and finding the back of the net.
As the teenager continues to strengthen his reputation, it is suggested that a move to Europe could be in the offing for the player sooner or later.
Camberos’ profile explained
Camberos is regarded as one of Chivas’ most promising academy graduates. Although he is primarily a winger, he can operate across the frontline and has an eye for goal.
The 19-year-old’s pace, dribbling ability and willingness to take defenders on are his standout qualities, and his current market value is estimated at around €3m (£2.6m).
The report reveals that this is not the first time that Camberos has been linked with a move abroad, with Club Brugge making a move for him last year, but in the end, failing to strike an agreement with Chivas.
