Tottenham supporters have urged Spurs to pass on the chance to sign Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, as Manchester City have now entered the race for the Dutchman.
Tottenham Hotspur have only just completed their seventh signing of the summer transfer window after Savio finalised his £85 million (€100 million) switch from Manchester City.
But the Lilywhites are expected to remain active in the final days of the window, with Roberto De Zerbi’s side still keen to bolster their attack even further.
A deal for Omar Marmoush is not too far from being completed, with reports tipping the Egyptian to be the next through the door at Tottenham.

Regardless of the potential double swoop of City attackers, Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo remains firmly on Tottenham’s radar.
Reports yesterday even claimed that Spurs are readying a second bid for the Dutchman as they remain in active talks to get a deal completed this summer.
However, Manchester City are now believed to have entered the race for Gakpo, offering Tottenham competition in the final days of the window.
These latest developments have now reached Spurs fans, who have taken to social media to share their reaction, with many supporters calling for City to beat their club to the Dutchman’s signature.
One fan said: “Every transfer we touch turns into a saga.” Another added: “He is going City if they are interested. Go and get Mitoma now, I do not want to end the window with just two attackers.”

Why Spurs fans are reluctant to sign Cody Gakpo
The reluctance to see their club sign Gakpo this summer stems from the Dutchman’s underwhelming display last season.
Liverpool struggled in the Premier League and so did most of their attackers, with Gakpo scoring just seven goals and managing five assists in 36 appearances.
A return significantly more than every Spurs attacker last season, except for Richarlison, who scored 11 goals and managed four assists.
However, Gakpo’s numbers looked much better at the World Cup this summer, where he scored three times and assisted once for the Netherlands.
His opening game this season could also be a hint that the 27-year-old might be in for a much better campaign, as not only did Gakpo score against Newcastle United, but he was also the highest-rated player in the entire match.
