After beating Tottenham and other Premier League clubs to Crysencio Summerville, Al Hilal are now looking to poach another winger on Spurs’ radar.
Savinho and Cody Gakpo have emerged as Tottenham’s top winger targets, as the Lilywhites look to strike deals with Man City and Liverpool respectively, for the two wide men in the final weeks of the transfer window.
However, doing a deal for either player appears easy for Spurs, who are reportedly frustrated with Man City’s antics during the negotiations over the Brazilian.
Additionally, Liverpool are not showing any interest in selling Gakpo, and now, De Zerbi’s men face the prospect of missing out on another of their winger targets.
Tottenham target Iliman Ndiaye in talks over move to Al Hilal
Al Hilal beat Spurs to the signing of Crysencio Summerville last month, and they are set to do the same for another Premier League star.
Earlier this summer, some sources reported that Tottenham were keeping a close eye on Iliman Ndiaye’s situation, and this has now been confirmed by CaughtOffside, who claim that the Lilywhites are one of five clubs interested in the Everton man.
The report says that Spurs, Man United, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Manchester United are all keeping tabs on the 26-year-old as they look to bolster their forward line.
However, Al-Hilal are now ‘moving aggressively’ for Ndiaye, who is valued by the Toffees at £75m.
This information has also been backed up by talkSPORT, who say that the Saudi club are currently in discussions with the Senegal star’s entourage over a move to the Middle East.
Ndiaye does not appear to be at the top of Roberto De Zerbi’s wishlist
De Zerbi has put pressure on the Tottenham hierarchy to prioritise deals for their top attacking targets, rather than settling for alternative options.
Clearly, Savinho remains the Spurs head coach’s preferred option to bolster the wide areas ahead of his first full season in charge.
The Brazilian is reportedly putting pressure on Man City to force through a move to Tottenham, and the North Londoners will be hopeful a deal can be struck before the start of the new campaign.
