Bayer Leverkusen Ibrahim Maza is among the players on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.
It has been reported that it is going to be a busy summer transfer window for Tottenham Hotspur, and that could lead to a host of new signings.
Thus far, Spurs’ transfer business hints at that, with two deals already through the door, while reports continue to link them with even more additions.
Given the dismal season Tottenham managed last term, such transfer activity is not entirely surprising especially as Spurs look to avoid a repeat of those struggles.

Tottenham eye Ibrahim Maza amid midfield search
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are also considering midfield reinforcements and have their eyes on one of the players currently featuring at the Club World Cup.
Algeria international Ibrahim Maza is said to be among the players Spurs have been linked with as they look to improve their midfield depth.
However, they are not alone in their pursuit, with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal also said to be monitoring the 20-year-old.
Maza is a playmaker who enjoyed a decent season with Bayer Leverkusen, scoring five goals and providing seven assists in all competitions.
His displays last season also saw him impress when he came up against English opposition in Manchester City. The German side were 2-0 victors and Maza managed a goal contribution grabbing an assist.

How Ibrahim Maza could fit into Tottenham’s midfield
While predominantly featuring as an attacking midfielder, Maza is also capable of playing in a deeper midfield role.
The 20-year-old is described as a real workhorse, clever at finding space and a smart passer of the ball.
Spurs have only just opted against extending Yves Bissouma’s contract, and there is certainly a need for a player who can also operate in the centre of the park.
Tottenham clearly have it in mind to strengthen in that area, given their latest links with Hayden Hackney.
However, based on Maza’s profile, he appears more likely to compete with the likes of Xavi Simons and James Maddison in an attacking midfield role.
