With the transfer window still open and Tottenham looking to bolster their squad even further, we have now put together our dream Spurs XI amid links to several forward options.

The Premier League season is just a little over a month away, and Tottenham Hotspur are doing all they can to be in the best possible position ahead of its kick-off.

A lot of work has already been done in the transfer market with six new additions. The likes of Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka have all come through the door.

Still, the expectation is that there could well be more exciting new additions with Spurs looking to bolster their attack ahead of the new season.

Tottenham have continued to be linked with several attacking options that could strengthen the left wing and the centre-forward position.

This includes the likes of Crysencio Summerville, Savinho, Eli Junior Kroupi, Rafael Leao and even Dusan Vlahovic.

It remains to be seen which ones Spurs sign this summer window, but that has not prevented us from putting together our dream XI for the 2026/27 season.

Tottenham kick off against Brentford

Tottenham’s season kicks off with a game against Brentford, while several other Premier League games have been scheduled for broadcasting, including fixtures against Newcastle, Everton and Aston Villa.

For these games, we would love to see a different Tottenham side. In goal, we have Antonin Kinsky. The Czech international is set to become Spurs’ new number one as Guglielmo Vicario is expected to be sold this summer.

Kinsky was vital in the run-in last season, delivering top-class saves while bringing calm and composure to the Spurs defence. There is every reason to believe that he is capable of maintaining his strong form from last season.

In front of the Czech international, forming the back four, we have gone with Pedro Porro, Jan Paul van Hecke, Micky van de Ven and Destiny Udogie.

There is one big change in this setup with Jan Paul van Hecke coming in at centre-back, and that is because of the uncertainty surrounding the future of Cristian Romero. Reports suggest that the Argentine could depart Spurs this summer, with interest coming from Spain.

Porro is out on World Cup duty and has looked very impressive, currently one of the highest-rated players in the competition. Van de Ven remains a reliable performer for Tottenham, with his recovery pace proving very important for Spurs.

Spurs midfield reshaped with Fernandes and Tonali

In midfield, we expect to see even more changes, and it is the one position that could look very different.

Spurs have already brought in two new midfielders of different profiles in Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, and we do expect the two to go straight into the team.

Both players would allow Tottenham great flexibility given their versatility. Spurs could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and also a 4-3-3 formation with the pair and still look solid.

While Fernandes and Tonali form two of a three-man midfield, the ideal pick for us in the number ten spot would be James Maddison.

Spurs missed his creativity last season when he was sidelined for a significant chunk of the campaign due to his ACL injury.

He is back now, fit again, and we expect him to take a spot in that number ten role, being the creative spark needed.

Tottenham must rebuild attack with Rafael Leao and Eli Junior Kroupi

Up top, and for our ideal lineup, we would love to see a revamped forward line with at least two changes. Spurs simply need to get a left winger, and our ideal pick would be Rafael Leao.

Based on our comparison piece where we looked at how Leao’s numbers stack up against Savinho and Summerville, the Portuguese came out on top in several key metrics.

Tottenham need to keep that theme of getting as much experience into the squad, and he brings just that.

At centre-forward, securing a deal for Junior Kroupi would be extremely impressive for Tottenham. The Bournemouth man managed 13 goals last campaign in the Premier League, doing so not just as a centre-forward but also while putting in attacking midfielder shifts.

One would expect Kroupi to top those numbers if he is used solely as a centre-forward in an attacking side like Roberto De Zerbi’s.

Featuring on the right would be Mohammed Kudus, who missed so much of last season and would effectively be like a new signing once more.

In all, here is our Dream Tottenham XI for the 2026/27 season: Kinsky; Porro, Van Hecke, Van de Ven, Udogie; Tonali, Fernandes, Maddison; Kudus, Junior Kroupi, Leao
