Fabrizio Romano has revealed Tottenham’s stance on Pedro Porro as the right-back is being targeted by some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
It has been widely reported over the last few days that Manchester City are keen on landing Porro, who came through the ranks of their academy before making a name for himself at Sporting Lisbon.
Porro was also mooted as a target for Real Madrid, but the Lilywhites may no longer have to worry about the Los Blancos, who have signed an alternative to the Tottenham star in Denzel Dumfries.
Some outlets have suggested over recent weeks that Roberto De Zerbi’s men are ready to sell the right-back for £50m this summer.

Man City’s interest in the Spurs defender has also been confirmed by Paul O’Keefe, but Tottenham fans will be relieved by Fabrizio Romano’s latest update.
The journalist revealed that despite reports linking the 26-year-old with a move away, Spurs have no intention of losing Porro this summer. He added that De Zerbi sees the Spain international as a ‘crucial player’ in his setup.
Romano wrote on X: “Understand Tottenham manager De Zerbi see Pedro Porro as crucial player and the club also don’t want him to leave. Despite reports, THFC want Porro to stay.”
Porro has made interesting comments on his future
Even though the Spaniard was not at his best last season, many Spurs fans feel losing Porro would be a major blow to the team.
While the former Sporting Lisbon star has brushed off rumours regarding his future, he stopped short of ruling out a summer exit.
When asked about the speculation over his future last month, Porro simply said he has a contract with Tottenham and insisted he had not seen any of the reports.
