AS Roma and Tottenham Hotspur could find themselves engaged in multiple transfer battles over the coming weeks, as their wishlists appear almost identical for one position.
Roberto De Zerbi has reiterated that Tottenham will make multiple additions to their attack before the window slams shut on September 1.
It is no secret that a left-winger and a striker are seen as priorities by Spurs in the remaining weeks of the window.
A whole host of wingers across Europe have been mooted as targets for Tottenham, and it appears that many of the same names are also on the wishlist of AS Roma.

AS Roma prioritising move for Tottenham target Antonio Nusa
It has been widely reported that Antonio Nusa is of interest to Spurs, and it was previously suggested that Tottenham could face competition from the likes of Newcastle and Aston Villa for the 21-year-old.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Lilywhites could also face intense competition from Italy for the Norway international’s services.
This is because Nusa remains a ‘genuine option’ for Roma, although Leipzig’s €55m (£47m) valuation is slowing down the negotiations.
Despite the Bundesliga club’s high valuation, it is revealed that the Club Brugge man remains the ‘Plan A’ for Roma.
Roma eyeing two more wingers on Spurs’ radar
The report says that Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini is also a big fan of Benfica’s Andreas Schjelderup, who Tottenham have stepped up their pursuit of in the last week.
Additionally, it is revealed that the Gialorossi have also been offered the chance to sign Marcus Rashford, who Spurs have been exploring a move for since the start of the window.
It thus appears that Roma and Tottenham Hotspur could have several run-ins in the final few weeks of the transfer window as both clubs look to bolster their forward line.
