Tottenham Hotspur have continued their work on the academy front with another promising youngster set to spend the 2026/27 season away from North London.
With the summer transfer window approaching its final week, Tottenham could still do plenty of business in both directions.
Omar Marmoush and Savinho are expected to be announced as Spurs players in the coming days, while Pape Sarr and Richarlison are among those who could leave, with several clubs keeping an eye on both players.
There has also been plenty of movement involving the academy, with Tottenham already arranging loan moves for players including Mason Melia, Reiss-Russell Denny, Yusuf Akhamrich, Luca Gunter and Tyrese Hall.
Now, another promising youngster has secured a loan move for the new campaign.
Oliver Irow joins Plymouth Argyle on loan
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Oliver Irow has joined League One side Plymouth Argyle on loan for the 2026/27 season.
The 20 year old forward spent the second half of last season in the same division with Mansfield Town, scoring twice on his senior competitive debut before finishing his spell with 4 goals in 18 appearances.
Irow, who can operate out wide or through the middle, also made a strong impression with Tottenham’s Under-21s during the first half of the campaign, scoring 5 goals in just 12 appearances.
Speaking on the arrival of the Spurs academy graduate, Argyle boss Tom Cleverley said: “I’m very pleased Oli is joining us. He is a young winger who likes to be direct.
“He can play off the left, or the right, and down the middle as well, so he is versatile and gives us options. I’m looking forward to working with him.”
Mikey Moore could be next Tottenham academy player to leave
It was reported last week that Bundesliga side FC Koln had reached an agreement with Spurs over a season-long loan for the highly rated Mikey Moore.
Moore had been preparing to travel to Germany before Roberto De Zerbi temporarily halted the move.
The Tottenham boss was short of attacking options for the Premier League opener against Brentford and wanted reinforcements to arrive before allowing the 19-year-old to leave.
Moore subsequently started the 3-0 defeat to Brentford and found himself under significant pressure as Spurs struggled badly in attack.
With Savinho and Omar Marmoush expected to arrive before next week’s home game against Newcastle United, Moore’s move to FC Koln will be formalised soon.
