Tottenham Hotspur have turned down two offers for a defender who was handed his senior debut by Thomas Frank last season.

Spurs have already sold some of their young starlets this summer, with Luka Vuskovic and Alfie Devine sealing moves to Brighton and Preston North End respectively.

Middlesbrough also reached agreement with Tottenham over the signing of Will Lankshear, while Tynan Thompson has transferred to Man United.

Additionally, Lucas Bergvall is expected to seal an exit from N17, with Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United battling it out for his signature this summer.

Tottenham have rejected two offers for Jun’ai Byfield

Tottenham insider, Szyexcl, has now revealed that academy defender Jun’ai Byfield is also attracting plenty of transfer interest ahead of the new season.

The 17-year-old made his Premier League and Champions League debuts for Spurs earlier this year, and two unnamed clubs have reportedly failed with offers for the youngster.

Szyexcl revealed that both offers for Byfield were initial loan offers with an option to buy, and it did not take long for Tottenham to turn them down.

Szyexcl first wrote on X about the teenage defender: “The club have turned down two approaches for him in recent days”, and in a follow-up post, he added: “Both of them were initial loans with option to buy. Swiftly turned down.”

Spurs academy midfielder has impressed Roberto De Zerbi in pre-season

Some sources have claimed over recent days that Jamie Donley may be allowed to leave Tottenham this summer, with the 21-year-old attracting plenty of interest.

However, this has been dismissed by Alasdair Gold, who has revealed that Donley has caught the eye of Roberto De Zerbi in pre-season training.

Gold added that the attacking midfielder is expected to be part of Tottenham’s pre-season tour to New Zealand and Australia.
