Wantaway Tottenham star Richarlison has returned to first‑team training despite significant interest from Vasco da Gama in Brazil.

The focus for Tottenham Hotspur is now fixed on this weekend, when they are set to take on Everton in matchweek four of the Premier League.

Tottenham remain without a victory or a goal this season, and they will be hoping their home crowd can help push them toward securing their first of both

Spurs Web have since revealed that Roberto De Zerbi has been handed a big boost on the injury front ahead of Saturday’s clash, with James Maddison returning to training after missing the last two weeks of action.

However, another blow was suffered as Mykhailo Mudryk picked up an ankle injury that is set to keep him out for six to eight weeks.

According to Sky Sports, Richarlison has now made his return to first-team training ahead of this weekend’s clash with Everton.

The Spurs forward is ineligible to feature for Tottenham in the Premier League after he was left out of De Zerbi’s Premier League squad.

Reports had it that the Brazilian was not training with the first team following failed transfers during deadline day, including a move to Everton after Spurs reached an agreement for Iliman Ndiaye.

Richarlison is also in talks with Vasco da Gama to complete a transfer before the deadline day in Brazil, which is tomorrow, 11 September.

Michael Bridge wrote on X: “Richarlison took part in first team training despite not being in the Premier League squad.”

Spurs situation unchanged despite Richarlison return

The forward’s return to training does not help Tottenham this weekend, as he cannot be named on the bench. Richarlison, however, can feature in cup games should he not complete his transfer to Brazil later this month.

Regardless, Vasco remain keen on signing the forward, and it is understood that they are exploring different options to get a deal completed.

Richarlison himself is said to be even considering terminating his Spurs contract in order to complete a switch. Spurs have set a £17.1 million valuation on Richarlison, who has less than a year on his current deal.
