Tottenham could splash another £132m this week with two buys and two sales

With the Premier League just weeks away from kicking off, Tottenham Hotspur could be set for another round of spending and sales as they look to strengthen their squad.

Tottenham Hotspur remain intent on securing forward additions before the close of the summer transfer window.

Head coach Roberto De Zerbi made this clear, stating that Spurs could complete two or three new signings in what could be a transfer bomba before the end of the window.

Several players have been linked with Tottenham so far this summer, and there is a big chance Spurs smash their record for the highest amount spent in a single transfer window.

Tottenham could spend £132m on Savinho and Cody Gakpo in the coming weeks

Reports throughout the summer have linked Tottenham with Savinho and Cody Gakpo. The Manchester City winger has been on the radar of Spurs for some time, with Tottenham’s interest going back to last summer.

While Tottenham pushed for a move, City were able to convince Savinho to remain at the Etihad, with the Brazilian even signing a new deal.

However, a year on and Spurs’ interest remains. Reports claim that Savinho could now be available for £10 million less than he was last summer.

Tottenham were in a £70 million chase for the 22-year-old winger but could now get him for £60 million.

Savinho is versatile enough to fill in on either flank. Should Tottenham land him in the coming weeks, their transfer spend for the summer would soar to £297 million – £25 million more than their previous highest spend in a season, which stands at £272 million.

It is very unlikely that Savinho will be the only player to come through the doors to bolster Spurs’ attack. Gakpo is also heavily linked with a Tottenham move.

Tottenham are said to have held positive talks with the Dutchman, who is open to departing Liverpool for north London.

However, Gakpo will not be available cheaply, with Liverpool placing a hefty £72 million fee on the wide forward.

Gakpo’s stats do show that he is capable of offering goals and assists to the Spurs attack, having managed double figures for goal involvements in the last three seasons.

With a £72 million price tag, should Tottenham secure a deal, their transfer spend could rise all the way up to £132 million in the coming weeks and £369 million for the summer.

Spurs’ outgoing business could reduce net spend

Not only are Spurs in for new additions, but outgoings could also be completed in the coming weeks.

Tottenham captain Cristian Romero is edging closer to sealing a move away from Spurs, with Inter Milan in talks with the player’s entourage.

Manor Solomon is also attracting interest after a solid pre-season tour with Tottenham in Australia and New Zealand.

West Ham are reported to be keen on signing the Israeli international. Solomon could fetch Tottenham £8.7 million, while Romero could bring in £34 million, according to reports.

Should the following deals be completed, Tottenham’s net spend for the summer could end up at £262.6 million.
