  1. Someone get to the airport, hold up a board (or a Spurs shirt?) with his name on, pick him up and take him straight to WHL.
  2. Yeah it'd be no big deal, but sometimes I think we forget football is a squad game, and the success of Leicester last season shows that not everyone needs to be world class - a settled, happy, committed and united squad can be just as important. Hardly seen Yedlin this season at Sunderland. Was he dreadful and is there no point holding onto him albeit another loan season?
  3. Not massively fussed either way if Mason and/or Chadli stay in the squad, as surely we need non-disruptive players on the bench next year to help out? Not everyone can be a potential superstar or a game changer, you do also need squad players when others are injured or we're playing in 'secondary' competitions. That said, if we need the sale proceeds to close the Janssen deal then go for it!

    Ryan Mason £2m Transfer ??

I would stick with him for one more season and see how he goes. This presumes he is happy to be a squad player. We will always need some players who are hungry for action but not disruptive to things when they are on the fringes.

    PL: TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Southampton

An utter stinker of a performance from most of our team today. Lloris should have stopped both their goals, Toby and Jan were all over the place, Rose made errors, Mason just kept giving it away, Lamela worked hard but made poor decisions, Kane was greedy and looked desperate to score. Plenty of possession with very few moments of quality, no real attacking threat. Our fans at WHL deserved better in our last home game. It's still in our hands though. We need to put this travesty behind us and secure 2nd spot vs Newcastle.

Leics lose to top 4 chasing ManU. Spurs to dig deep and win. Gap becomes 4 points with two games to play. COYS

PL: TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs West Bromwich Albion

I think it's been a great team effort this season and any individual technical / tactical deficiencies from players (or our coach) have - in the most part - been more than made up for in terms of spirit, togetherness and will to win. I've enjoyed watching this young Spurs squad grow and improve over the season, no reason why they can't do better next season without the annoying Europa league matches and long distance travel disruption. The league title is (almost certainly) beyond us now although the whole media hype machine will strike up again if Leics lose to ManU and we beat Chelsea. Whatever happens I'm very proud to be a Spurs fan at the moment.

West Brom looked poor last night against Arsenal. If we play anywhere near our level it will be three points. COYS

PL: TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Manchester United

Totally agree. We've looked a little flat without him and he has a great attitude with loads of energy. Sometimes his decision making is odd in risky situations but so much better this season and his quality will get better as he gets older with our superb coaching set-up.

Some of you lot talk so much shit. Writing off our players after 40 mins of a match as over rated etc. We've just demolished Utd with a fantastic second half performance. Some of you look a bit silly now!

Agree! The Lloris save that bounced up from Lallana was class. I really wish Rose had just smashed it toward goal right at the end. I think Mignolet might have spilled it for a Chadli tap-in. He's usually got an error in him!

Ha ok! But I really wasn't sure who would come on and make a huge difference today... Mason can bring energy and more bite. Carroll has nice touches but can be lightweight. Onomah is one for next season. We defo did miss Lamela as an option!

Chadli did ok, but our bench lacked a game changer / match winner.

    PL: Liverpool vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

I agree the quality suffered a bit in final third mainly as both teams pressed very hard, hounding the ball carrier at all times. It was also one of Alli's weaker matches based on his ridiculously high standards.

I am not sure you have much idea about football. It's anything but that. It's a tense match between Two well matched teams playing football at a breathless pace.

Watching match on sky. It's an even match. But We keep dithering on the ball in our own half, and getting caught out, I've seen Son do it a few times. It's inviting pressure! Annoying

EL: Borussia Dortmund vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Disagree. We fight for the title. The league does not lie and we are right in there. 4th place is not our target. We might end up in 4th, but we aim high.

I agree with this. The players we put out today are ok, good lads, some will get better for Spurs, but not vs Dortmund. FFS

Why not play our best 11 tonight against a very strong side and then start with a weaker 11 vs a very poor side at the weekend? I agree with having a squad and using your players, but it seems like a very poor selection tonight.

    Verts

Really unfortunate after a cowardly elbow by that twat Wickhan. He's been outstanding this season, best defensive pair and GK in the division. Let's hope he is back to fitness soon and eases back into contention for the latter part of the season. I'm happy enough with Wimmer coming in and he will get game time in the FA Cup. Time for our young versatile squad to prove its worth!

FAC: Leicester City vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

This time we'll win. I'm confident. We must have worked out how to beat them by now.... Concentrate for 90+ mins, keep possession, don't over commit going forward, take chances, mark the big clumsy German at set pieces, close down the frantic Japanese guy when he comes on! The winning cup run starts now. I grew up in Leicester and fed up with getting stick the from my old school mates. COYS

Ha ha a bit harsh! Maybe you are just seeing the 'glass half empty' and I'm seeing the 'glass half full'. As long as we both support him when he's on the pitch!
